Figureworks 2025 Jury

While it may be hard to believe that we are past mid-October, the colours are still beautiful and the weather in Ottawa has been a treat. This week we want to highlight our phenomenal jury for Figureworks 2025. Hopefully this will inspire you as you think ahead to the show and perhaps as you are preparing your submission. A reminder that the deadline for submissions is October 31.

Olivia Johnston is an award-winning lens-based artist whose work has been exhibited and published extensively. She uses a variety of photographic strategies as a means to explore questions about the photographic image, portraiture and art history; the self, the body, and illness; and the photographer’s relationship with memory. Her work explores social issues, practices of representation, and the boundaries and biases within her own and other’s belief systems.

In addition to his practice as an artist, Morrow is a professor at the University of Ottawa, and a board member with the Council for the Arts in Ottawa. Morrow lives in Chelsea, QC, with his wife and two sons.
